Prideland Student Accommodation – Refund Policy

1. General Policy

Prideland Student Accommodation operates on a transparent and student-first refund policy. We understand that unexpected changes can occur, and we aim to handle all refund requests timeously, fairly, and with integrity.

2. Application & Booking Fees

Application and booking fees are non-refundable. These fees cover administrative processing and reservation of accommodation space.

3. Accommodation Fees

• The student formally cancels the agreement at least 30 days prior to check-in.
• The accommodation cannot be provided due to an error or failure on Prideland’s side.
• A serious medical emergency or academic withdrawal (with supporting documents).

4. Refund Request Procedure

1. Send a formal request to admin@thepromisedlandzm.com within 14 days of the qualifying event.
2. Include your full name, student ID or reference number, payment receipt, and reason for refund.
3. If applicable, attach supporting documentation (e.g. medical letters, university withdrawal letter).

5. Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 working days via the same payment method used (e.g., mobile money, card, or bank transfer). The time it takes for the funds to reflect in your account may vary based on your bank or mobile money provider.

6. No Refunds For

• No-shows or unannounced cancellations.
• Voluntary early departure or dismissal due to misconduct.
• Refund requests made more than 30 days after payment, unless related to our service failure.

7. Double Payments or Errors

If a duplicate payment or error occurs, a full refund will be processed upon verification. Please notify us immediately via email with proof of transaction.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to restrict future access to our services. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and quickly.
